===Learn more about the Oculus of Abaddon=== * Enter Gates to the Valley of the Dead and interact with the gates themselves. ** You can shout out your name for Raven to remember it. ** You can pass two Knowledge (Arcana) DC 20 checks for + each. * To open the gates you need to do one of the following: *# Have three Cyclops Incense Burner and use the related dialogue option. *# Cast Bane, Fear, Plague Storm, Wail of the Banshee, or Polar Midnight spell while standing close to the gates. * Go to Vordakai's Tomb, on your way you will encounter Ancient Cemetery location which you can't re-visit after you leave it. * Enter Vordakai's Tomb, you get a small talk with Raven, but it's just trivia. * Once you press the button on the floor the entrance door will close, locking you inside the dungeon until you finish it. So be prepared, although you will eventually find 12 Camping supplies and rations in the dungeon. * Proceed forward killing enemies and disarming traps until you meet Raven again. * This time he will try to get the name of one of your companions, you can name one of your companions yourself or you can select "I have no time for your taunts and riddles, crow." line. ** If you select that line then one of your companions will reveal their name: Jubilost, Octavia, Regongar, Ekundayo, Jaethal or Valerie. If you have neither of those companions then no name would be given. * In the next room clicking the button will start a Book Event (Vordakai's Tomb - River Trap) ** On first page you get to choose between Trickery DC 30 +, Perception DC 26 +, Strength DC 21 + ** [Trickery] check will end the book event and grant no bonus experience, which is a bug. ** [Perception] check will teleport you to a hidden area and grant + (the best outcome). ** Failing any of the checks or picking [Strength] check leads to second part where you get to choose between Intimidate DC 22 and Stealth DC 22 checks, + each. ** Whichever you choose you get + and party will get 6d6+6 Slashing damage if either is failed. * Moving forward you will encounter Raven again who will try to get the second name. ** It's the same deal as first encounter, but with the following character list: Nok-Nok, Amiri, Linzi, Tristian, Harrim. * Also there you will find two altars. Clicking on them will cause Constitution Damage, it can be cured with Restoration, Lesser, negated by Death Ward or used by Jaethal/Tristian who are immune to its effect. ** Using both altars will deactivate repeatable Channel Negative Energy - Damage Living trap which is supposed to start damaging your party once you press the button on the floor that opens the gate to the next area. * But before you go forward, there is a door to the west with Astradaemon (Vordakai's Tomb) and Barbarian Prisoners behind it whom you can save for an extra +. * Moving forward there is a room full of traps, after that is a room with Ancient Soul Eater (Boss) who will summon up to three Ferocious Soul Eater (Vordakai's Tomb) who will fight one-on-one the characters who had their names given to Raven. * To the side of that room you can find a circular room, if you have Tristian in your party a Dialogue (Tristian - Oculus Room) will activate. * Move forward and you get to the entrance to the second level. It is recommended to drop all heavy vendor loot here on the first level, so you can easily pick it up later without legwork if you will have spare time to return to this location. * Fight through the enemies until you get to the maze section. ** The way to the north leads to a section with another circular room where you can trigger Tristian's dialogue if you haven't done so on the first level. There is also a currently locked room with golems, you can return there later. * Going south exit out of the maze you will get another fork * To the left is a room with zombies and Willas Gunderson in the end. Most of the info you get from him is flavor, but [Requires Good] choice will make him heal your party and cure ability score damage and level drain. * To the right is giant dinner hall with LOTS of zombies. Nothing a couple Fireballs can't fix. * To the east of dinner hall is collapsed passage which requires Athletics DC 32 to go through. Only one attempt given. ** Getting to the other side of passage triggers Dialogue (Tristian - Daemon Room) dialogue if you have Tristian in party, he will ask you to turn back and seal the passage. If you agree you will get ported back, and if you refuse you will unlock a key flag which is needed for one of the Tors of Levenies region upgrades. ** In the room itself you can find an altar. Clicking on it gives your main character Daemonic Blessing passive buff. ** Alternatively you can loot two Cabochon Ruby that sell for a hefty sum, but that will cause two Astradaemon and three Thanadaemon to attack you. 58875coin and + versus passive buff, your choice. * If you been pressing buttons along the way the golem room should be open now. You can return there and get the loot. * Otherwise, going north from the dinner hall will get you to a room with water elementals, at the entrance you will get another talk with Tristian (if he is in the party) - Dialogue (Tristian - Before Vordakai), as long as you picked a Good choice in any of previous two dialogues.
