Walkthrough[ | ]
- Speak with Ivar at the edge of the cliff to the northwest of Lake Silverstep Village to begin this quest.
- You can ask him several questions to make an array of alignment choices. If you bide him farewell he will be gone and you will have to track him down.
- You can actually attack him with (Chaotic Evil) choice to finish the quest here and now. He also won't talk and attack you if you have attacked the villagers.
- If you let him go away you can find him in several ways:
- Complete Finding Ivar project.
- Discover his tracks in Lake Silverstep Village
- (Optional) First at his house, Perception DC 0 to reveal.
- (Optional) Second north from his house, Perception DC 0 to reveal, Perception DC 16 to activate +45xp.
- (Optional) Third further north, Perception DC 0 to reveal, Perception DC 21 to activate +45xp.
- Fourth at the north exit, Perception DC 0 to reveal, Perception DC 24 to activate +45xp. Only this check is needed to reveal Silverstep Grove.
- Talk with Aysel and pass a Diplomacy DC 19 check +45xp, if failed you can then attempt a Bluff DC 12 check +11xp.
- Travel to Silverstep Grove and confront Ivar. After he is defeated you can:
- (Lawful Neutral) or (Lawful Evil) Finish him off.
- (Chaotic Good) Wish him luck in finding self forgiveness.
- (Neutral) Exile him.
- If you let him go you will meet him later in Littletown, he will be willing to help you if you parted with (Chaotic Good) option. That would also give you an option to get Research into the Nature of Curses: Ivar.
- If you killed him you can get 450
from Brevis in Lake Silverstep Village.
