The First Crown is a quest in Pathfinder: Kingmaker.

“ | We ran across two of Nyrissa's minions — an old hag called Knurly Witch and a gross worm-bodied guy called the Wriggling Man — fighting about something called the First Crown. One of the fey gods named Shyka showed up and scared them off, but then he (she? they? I think "they" would be the most proper word) asked us to go track down the crown. Apparently Nyrissa's lieutenants fought so hard they accidentally blew the thing up and scattered it across the forest in three pieces. (But who hasn't accidentally blown up something during a fight, am I right?) Shyka seems a little shifty — literally, as their face changes every few seconds — but promises that if we can track the parts down and hand it over, it'll help us beat Nyrissa and her goons somehow. | „ |

Walkthrough
Find the crown shards
- One fragment can be acquired from Treants at the southeast.
- Another from Faldrox the Huntsman near the tower with the purple worms in the NE
- You will have to fight Elder Purple Worms in any case. Loot the crown part from the tower's stone block.
- The last fragment is looted from Crag Linnorm (Castle of Knives), but only after you have talked to Salim Ghadafar
- Looting all the fragments converts them into The First Crown (Item) and activates the Book Event.
Book Event (The First Crown)
- In the book event you will talk to Lethoriel the Wise
- First stage answers all lead to questions part.
- In questions part you can:
- Asked him more about his kingdom. - provides trivia info.
- Asked him about Nyrissa and his imprisonment. - invokes Will DC 20 check +45xp, 3d6 Direct damage to party on failure.
- Told him we were his new masters!
- Bluff DC 35 check +3840xp, returns you to the questions part, regardless of outcome.
- If [Bluff] failed, rolls Will DC 35 check +3840xp, on failure deals 5d6 Direct damage to the party.
- "Not yet. That's why we need your help. How can we best fight Nyrissa and her minions?" - forwards you to the end stage of book event.
- Bluff DC 35 check +3840xp, returns you to the questions part, regardless of outcome.
- Asked him how best to fight Nyrissa and her minions. - forwards you to the end stage of book event.
- In the last stage
- ...asked him what he would do if we set him free. - invokes Perception DC 35 check +3840xp and extra +3840xp.
- ...agreed to set him free. - leads to end of book event and allows you to free the spirit during quest resolution.
- ...refused. - leads to end of book event, but also deals 5d6 Direct damage to the party.
- [Close] ...told him we needed to think about it and got out of there. - ends the book event.
Talk to Shyka
- Talk to Shyka the Many and Salim Ghadafar.
- You can:
- "Here you go, Shyka." or (Chaotic Neutral) "I've changed my mind. Here, Shyka — you take it."
- 5000, alters one of the Nyrissa endings.
- (Lawful Good) "Here, Salim. Have your goddess put Lethoriel to rest."
- Unknown results
- (Chaotic Neutral) "I'm going to keep it."
- "I'm going to set the ghost free myself."
- Must have agreed to release Lethoriel the Wise during the Book Event.
- (Chaotic Good) [Free the ghost] "Lethoriel!" - starts the process.
- Pass Will DC 25 check (main character) +180xp
- Lethoriel's ghosts will help you fight Knurly Witch in House at the Edge of Time.
- Fail the [Will] check or select "What? No way!"
- Unknown results
- Pass Will DC 25 check (main character) +180xp
- "Here you go, Shyka." or (Chaotic Neutral) "I've changed my mind. Here, Shyka — you take it."
Bugs
- If you don't talk to Salim Ghadafar and exit the location, then Crag Linnorm's body will disappear with all it's loot. (Last Version:2.1.7b)
