Tartuccio is a character in Pathfinder: Kingmaker.
Biography[ | ]
Tartuccio is a gnome sorcerer and not-so-secret spy for Pitax sent by King Irovetti to search for an artifact he required for his patron. A secondary goal of Tartuccio's was to sow disorder in the Stolen Lands and/or claim a barony of his own to be annexed by Pitax later on. Tartuccio spends much of his time during the quest A Bitter Rival disguised as a kobold shaman named Tartuk, and has tricked the kobolds of Old Sycamore into helping with his search for the artifact. Tartuccio is killed by the player at the end of A Bitter Rival, but is reincarnated by a mysterious figure once the player leaves, albeit as a true kobold now. Continuing with the mantle of Tartuk, Tartuccio schemes with his remaining kobolds and a tribe of trolls lead by Hargulka during the quest Troll Trouble, granting some trolls immunity to fire. Tartuccio's fate after Troll Trouble depends on how the player resolved the quest, but there is a good chance that he will have met his final end.
Interactions[ | ]
Tartuccio is a temporary companion during The First Step on the Road to Glory, and the antagonist of A Bitter Rival. After his death at the player's hands, Tartuccio returns in the form of Tartuk during Troll Trouble in Chapter II. Keeping Tartuccio's Present until Chapter V will allow the player to use it against King Irovetti during the conclusion of The Rushlight Tournament.
