Shrewish Gulch is an illustrated book event location in Pathfinder: Kingmaker.

Choices

  • First stage:
    1. We examined the body below. - just information
    2. Perception DC 30 check (+720xp) - changes a second check for [Athletics] route.
    3. [Choose Character] Lore (Nature) DC 20 check (+45xp) - Advance to Second Stage. Uses 1 Rope, failure deals unknown amount of damage to chosen character.
    4. [Choose Character] Athletics DC 26 check (+240xp) - Advance to Second Stage after doing one more check:
      1. Reflex DC 30 save (+720xp) - if have not passed [Perception] check, failure deals unknown amount of damage to chosen character.
      2. Athletics DC 26 check (+240xp) - if passed [Perception] check, failure deals unknown amount of damage to chosen character.
    5. Leaving with possibility to come back is possible as long as you didn't attempt [Lore (Nature)] or [Athletics] checks.
  • Second Stage:
    1. We searched the dead body and looked at what had been scattered across the sand. - receive Shovel and Camping supplies and rations x3.
    2. We decided to enter the hole in the rock. - Advance to Third Stage.
    3. We decided to leave the place. - can not return to this location anymore.
  • Third Stage, you can perform up to three actions before running away, the more you do the harder checks will be in last stage:
    1. We rushed to search the corpses. - receive Ruby Ring
    2. Lore (Nature) DC 34 check (+2880xp) - also extra +480xp
    3. Fortitude DC 25 save (+180xp)
    4. Run away (after performing at least one action) - Advances to Last Stage.
  • Last Stage, escape with one out of three possible checks, depending how many actions you performed in Third Stage:
    1. One action: Athletics, Mobility, Stealth DC 30 - +720xp
    2. Two actions: Lore (Nature), Mobility, Stealth DC 34 - +2880xp
    3. Three actions: Lore (Nature), Mobility, Stealth DC 38 - +11520xp
