Walkthrough[ | ]
- During Season of Bloom chapter you can meet Old Man on the bridge of Bridge over the Gudrin River. Talking to him starts this quest.
- Go to the southwest corner of the map, along the river.
- Loot Black Berries. There will be Lore (Nature) DC 20 check to find out they are poisonous.
- If you failed the check then you can either give him the berries to complete the quest or (Chaotic Evil) to kill him.
- If you passed the check, then you get those options:
- (Chaotic Evil) to kill him and (Chaotic Neutral) to refuse giving him the berries fails the quest.
- (Neutral) choice completes the quest.
- (Lawful Good) choice to send him to Jhod Kavken and complete the quest.
- This choice will affect Unrest in the Streets.
Bugs[ | ]
There is currently a bug with this quest, where if you leave the map and progress to chapter 3 without giving him the berries, the quest will remain in your journal, unsolved - not failed - but the man on the bridge will disappear and therefor you will not be able to complete this quest, nor fail it.
