Runaway Throne is a quest in Pathfinder: Kingmaker.
Journal[ | ]
“ | Unspeakable insolence! {His/Her} Highness was robbed! And not just robbed: the villains dragged away the symbol of our kingdom — the very throne our country's ruler sits upon for meetings and receptions! We must do everything we can to find it before the relic makes it across the country's borders and our misfortune becomes known to all the River Kingdoms! | „ |

The search for any loss begins with interviews. We need to talk to the captain of the guard who discovered the throne had disappeared. Also, we should speak with Verdel the blacksmith, a victim of theft himself, as well as the city trader — they're bound to know something about these mysterious thieves. Moreover, Elina the innkeeper has definitely heard something about the string of thefts the whole city's been suffering from recently.

The interviews didn't dig up any results: these thieves are cunning — they use magic, and they don't sell their goods to third parties! We can only hope that our loss shows up somewhere. After all, this is the throne we're talking about! |

The royal throne was found being sold by a goblin haggler! How did he come up with such an idea...? No, we can think about that later — for now, we have to get the relic back where it belongs! |

“ | After a bit of an adventure, the throne was restored to its proper place, and we could breathe easily once more. Yet, while everything ended well, I still wonder: should I record this regrettable incident in the annals of our kingdom? Or would it be better to hide this story from the eyes of {His/Her} Highness's descendants? | „ |
