Mobility

Mobility is one of the skills available in Pathfinder: Kingmaker.

Description

This skill represents character's talent for balance and coordination, including aerial maneuvers, gymnastics, and tumbling.

You apply your character's Mobility skill to checks required for}:

• Move near opponents without provoking attacks of opportunity.
• Keep your balance.
• Escape from restraints.
• Soften falls.
• Squeeze through a tight spot.

Mobility checks are effected by a character's Dexterity modifier.

Uses

• With 3 points in Mobility, the dodge bonus to AC from fighting defensively increases from +2 to +3.
• Used with the Acrobatics (Mobility) ability to move through threatened squares without provoking attacks of opportunity.
• Commonly used during book events, such as Waterlogged Lowlands or A Ford Across the Skunk River.
• Sometimes used to move between different parts of a location, such as Old Sycamore or Verdant Chambers.
• Athletics or Mobility can be used to escape from some spells, such as Entangle or Create Pit.
