Kallikke's Poems - "Winter' is a note in Pathfinder: Kingmaker.

Text[edit | edit source]

"I learned today that northern skies

Have a desert sand of their own,

Called 'snow'.

Touched by the sunlight,

It outshines any gem I've ever seen

With my dazzled eyes.

Oh, how can all these people live

With all this beauty, yet pay it no heed,

When skies throw such treasure

To their very feet?

I waited patiently until no one

Was watching,

Then stole a handful of this snow,

And ate it.

Do you laugh?

Now I know the taste of the North.

And I like it.

(Next I will eat an icicle!)"
