Kagar is a character in Pathfinder: Kingmaker.

Biography

Part of the Longtail tribe, Kagar is known as a 'rattler', essentially a shaman and keeper of lore for the tribe. Kagar greets the player outside the Lizardfolk Village upon arrival, and reveals that he has left the village for his own safety since he is suspicious of the supposed spirit of a lizardfolk hero that has returned to the tribe. Kagar will ask the player to become involved and get to the bottom of the situation.

Interactions

Kagar is involved in the quest Lost Child as a source of information for what is happening in the Lizardfolk Village, as well as a potential sacrifice to Count Shimmerglow in the process of freeing Tig. If the player attempts to bargain with Count Shimmerglow in order to free Tig, the Will-o'-wisp will ask the player to bring Kagar as a sacrifice in exchange for the child. If the player warns Kagar of the deal, then he will reveal the Count as a malicious spirit in front of King Vesket; Vesket will become enraged and Count Shimmerglow will kill him, but Kagar will be alive in the end. If the player doesn't warn Kagar of the deal when bringing him to Count Shimmerglow, then he will be killed and Tig will be set free as promised.
