The Old Beldame is a character in Pathfinder: Kingmaker.
Biography[ | ]
The Old Beldame is a reclusive magic user living at the Swamp Witch's Hut. She seems deliberately secretive about herself and her past, though it is implied during the quests Coins for a Dead Man's Eyes and Gnarled Branches that her true name is Elga Verniex, and that she is the child of Settrex, a satyr, and one of the former villagers, a human woman named Isabel.
Interactions[ | ]
The Old Beldame offers the quests Mushrooms from the Mud Bowl and Swamp Bouquet. Completing either of these quests will make her available to the player as a merchant. After she becomes a merchant, The Old Beldame offers "Of Transmutations and Bodily Poisons", Part I, one of the books needed for the quest An Ancient Formula. She will also sell A Pouch of Feather Tokens for the quest Feather Tokens, or the item can be retrieved from her if she is killed.
Jenna Tannersen will suggest that the player approach her regarding her child during the quest Lost Child, though The Old Beldame will vehemently deny having any involvement in the disappearance of the child.

- Casts Mirror Image, Slow, Fear and Blindness. Attacks in melee when not casting anything.
- She herself is not as strong adversary as her guardian Scarecrow.
