Desecrated Cairn is a location in Pathfinder: Kingmaker.

Description[edit | edit source]

''A small natural cave under a hill. Long ago, in times immemorial, the Numerian barbarians used to bury their dead here. Now, abandoned and forsaken, it serves as a refuge to travelers and beasts alike – sometimes even their final refuge.''

Notes[edit | edit source]

This area contains stacks of boxes, containers and crates. When examining them, the player is given the option to search these, which then causes 4 hours of game time to pass and loot to appear. A few moments after that, three Hill Giants to appear which engage the player in dialogue. This can lead to combat, or, after one successful Bluff check (DC 25) to a friendly resolution. Another Bluff check (DC 30) even allows the player to leave with 561 gold provided by the giants.
