Strategy[ | ]
Most non-Druid animal companions have an effective level penalty this will negate. Take it on a Sylvan Sorcerer, Animal Domain Cleric, or Ranger for a full power animal companion. An Animal Domain Inquisitor could use this feat, but Sacred Huntsmaster is superior if you want an animal companion using Inquisitor. This allows a multiclass druid to retain full animal companion power if they multiclass for 4 or fewer levels (although mutliclassing as a druid is usually a poor idea).
