Bokken from the trading post has hinted that he could brew a rare and incredibly powerful potion for the {baron/baroness/King/Queen}. However, he hasn't revealed what exactly he has in mind...
„
Bring Bokken the three volumes of alchemical treatise: "Of Transmutations and Bodily Poisons"
To begin, Bokken requires an alchemical treatise that holds the recipe for a wondrous potion. He suggested looking for the book in magic shops and searching through "the belongings of other alchemists". For example, he recommended paying a visit to Old Beldame.
The alchemist dove into the books as soon as he got his hands on them. He promised to inform the {baron/baroness/King/Queen} the very moment there are any results.
Bokken has brewed the first batch of his miraculous concoction! The problem is, he isn't sure he's got the formula quite right… The potion has to be tested on a local dog — what a poor mutt!
Lycanthropes are humanoids, so testing the potion on them would be ideal. Bokken says that a lair of wererats has been spotted in the nearby woods – and surely he meant the Narlmarches.
The wererat drank Bokken's potion and died. We should tell Bokken about this!
Bokken decided to test the potion on himself – and lost his mind! He has to be stopped before someone gets hurt!

Bugs[ | ]
If you pass [Diplomacy] check to make one of the wererats to drink the potion, then Wererat Leader will be left unkillable, if you reload or re-enter location then you will get the usuall option to make him drink the poition or finish him off. Giving him the potion won't make him die, finishing him off will fail the quest. Conclusion: doing [Diplomacy] check will make you forfeit the Wererat Leader's loot. (Last Version:2.1.7b)
