"Of Transmutations and Bodily Poisons", Part III is a book in Pathfinder: Kingmaker.
Text
"All matter is, in itself, both poison and cure – like water, which lies at the foundation of every process. All living things perish without water; all living things shall drown if in water submerged, for even a fish leaps from its lake each day to breath in the air. All other matter succumbs to this universal law. That which the unlearned call poison is only the measure of a substance that the body which imbibes it cannot overcome. However, if diluted threefold, fivefold, or even tenfold, that same substance may affect the body much differently, strengthening it or cleansing it. Therefore, not every poison-maker is a villain, as is often believe among the common herd. The art of handling poison is neither dark nor evil in itself..." |
